The Case-Shiller Home Price Index for January was released today and--you guessed it--LA house prices are going up: "Prices increased by 0.9 percent from December, which was actually not as good as the November-December gain of 1.1 percent." Compared to January 2012, prices are up more than 12 percent, making LA one of eight cities to see increases in the double digits. [SCPR]
