Take a Drive Around the Hated Highland Park Transit Village

New, 28 comments

Developers McCormack, Baron, Salazar are trying once again to convince Northeast Angelenos that their proposed Highland Park Transit Village will not destroy everything they hold near and dear--the developers unveiled a 3D video at Thursday's Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council meeting showing street views of the partially mixed-use development that would bring 80 units to the current site of three surface parking lots near the Gold Line station. While the designs showcased aren't final, the sizes of the buildings are, according to HP Patch. The structures look pretty modest but, at least according to Patch commenters, some locals still think the Transit Village is the worst.
