A very small small lot development broke ground in Glassell Park earlier this month, according to Eastsider LA--built under the auspices of the Small Lot Subdivision Ordinance, which allows a bunch of little detached houses to be built on a single lot, Peak Place is the latest project from Heyday, the company behind the superpopular Buzz Court development. And like Buzz Court, these little houses aren't so little at all: 1,900 square feet over two stories, each with three bedrooms and a two-car garage. The site near Eagle Rock Boulevard is pushing the borders of the hipster frontier in Northeast LA, and this stretch of road is pretty, well, unremarkable. But hey, it's near the southern reaches of Curbed Neighborhood of the Year Atwater Village! Construction should take about eight months, and Heyday thinks the houses will go for somewhere in the "low $500,000 range."
