Beautiful Midtown Manhattan

With Jimmy Fallon set to replace Jay Leno on The Tonight Show next year, rumors are flying that the show will move from beautiful downtown Burbank (where it's been since 1972) back to Manhattan, and since nothing has more cultural import than late-night network television, everyone is freaking out. The LA Times: "Southern California is in danger of losing not just jobs but also cultural clout." The Daily News: "the possible loss of the most legendary of all late night television shows would not only affect the local entertainment economy, but area tourism and maybe even L.A.'s collective psyche as well."
