Good news for everyone who's grown tired of normal luxury: the far eastern end of Beverly Hills is getting a new development with "uncommonly oppulent" condos. 432 Oakhurst, under construction now, will have 34 two- and three-bedroom condos in its five stories, ranging from roughly 2,000 to 3,000 square feet. Prices start in the "mid $1 millions," and for that you get Miele and Sub-Zero in the kitchen, Hydro Systems tubs and Gessi fixtures in the bathroom, recessed lighting, open floor plans, "home pre-readiness for automatic window treatments," and designer-selected doors "aimed at exceeding the expectations of the most demanding U.S. and international buyers." Each unit comes with outdoor space, extra storage, and three parking spaces, while the building will have a concierge, common refreshment area, and high-speed elevators (for five stories?). The project, from Westbrook Properties and ETCO Homes is due to open for business in July.
