Closer Look at DTLA's Streetcar-Adjacent Olympic/Hill Project

New, 80 comments

The Olympic and Hill development, Hanover Company's proposed 281-unit mixed-use, just announced last week, is big news for this moribund stretch of northeast South Park. Renderings from TCA Architects show a dense development featuring 16,000 square feet of retail and more than 5,000 square feet of live/work loft space. Hanover is smart to get in early on this area as it's right on the route of the Downtown streetcar, which barring any unforeseen catastrophe, is happening. If Portland is any indication, when a streetcar arrives, development and rising land values follow. Hanover hopes to open Olympic and Hill in about three years.
