Hey, '80s comedians, have we got a story for you: Edmunds.com has "compiled top-10 lists of the vehicles in the Los Angeles area with the highest percentages of male and female ownership." The top car for men was a Corvette--76 percent of them were registered to dudes; the top car for women was a Volkswagen Beetle--50 percent were registered to gals. Men are also much more likely to buy American: among "the vehicles with high female ownership percentages; not one American brand is among the top 10." [LAT]
