Last fall, Merv Griffin's old estate in Bel Air hit the market for the first time in 20 years (Griffin hosted The Merv Griffin Show and created Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune)--it sold in late October for $6.275 million, apparently to real estate investor Paul Daneshrad. But now just a few months later it's back again and asking $6.95 million. The house, which Griffin owned in the early '90s, sits on more than two acres in the far northern reaches of Bel Air and has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, plus "a giant motor court, swimming pool, lush trees and a championship tennis court that hosted Merv Griffin's legendary tennis matches." The listing also notes that it's been owned by actress Polly Bergen and actor/director Albert Brooks. The current listing actually uses many of the same photos from the last one, so apparently not much has changed in the last three months.
