The lovely Sunkist building, which overlooks the 101 Freeway from Riverside Drive in Sherman Oaks is getting a major redevelopment--IMT Residential has just bought the property and its surrounding, undeveloped 8.5 acres. According to National Real Estate Investor, "The company intends to develop the remainder of the large infill property with a mixed-use project containing multifamily and retail components while preserving the original offices." The 1971 building, former headquarters of the citrus growers cooperative Sunkist, was designed by notable (and notably prolific) AC Martin Jr.
