A very long-delayed project to demolish the 1936 "Soto Street Bridge that links El Sereno, Boyle Heights and Lincoln Heights" is back on track after years of delay (it's been in the works since 2002): "After demolishing the bridge, intersections with signal lights would be built at Mission Road and Soto Street, and at the existing intersection at Huntington Drive North and Huntington Drive South."
