Culver City is all ready to move on its huge retail project on Parcel B downtown (the one with the giant stairway) but they're being held up by, what else, the death of all the state's local redevelopment agencies. "The City has taken all the appropriate steps to hopefully move production forward on Parcel B, but is entirely dependent on the State of California now" to give the go-ahead (since the project was formerly with the redevelopment agency).
