Following a stem-to-stern renovation by historic preservation firm Lander Design and a glowing story in the LA Times, Buff, Straub & Hensman's Thomson House has now officially hit the market. Winner of Pasadena's 2012 Preservation Award, the two-story glass and wood pavilion features four bedrooms, three baths, a brick fireplace, formica counters, cork floors, Shoji sliding screens, a new roof, new plumbing, electrical, and zoned heating and air conditioning systems, redwood decks, and city and mountain views. Asking price for the 1,887-square-foot residence, which qualifies for Mills Act tax breaks, is $1.495 million.
