Things were looking so good for football coach Lane Kiffin back in June 2012--his bosses at USC had such high hopes for him that, in addition to his multimillion-dollar salary, they gave him a $500,000 home loan to help buy a house in Manhattan Beach for $5.5 million. Then he completely botched the 2012 season and started the 2013 season out so poorly that he was fired in September after *five games. And the thing on that loan: the firing means USC can demand its money back with interest, according to a TMZ report from last year. Seems like they might be doing that, or at the very least Kiffin wants to get out of town, because he's just listed the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house, and for a lot more than what he paid. The 2002 house is not terribly attractive, but it sits on nearly half an acre (the brokerbabble says it's "reminiscent of the estates you see around Jackson Hole in its seclusion and grandeur"!) and comes with a saltwater pool, spa, firepit, guesthouse, outdoor kitchen, dog run, three-car garage and "[p]erhaps the largest family room in Manhattan Beach." Asking price is $6.995 million.
