At 3.6 inches, LA's had the driest year on record since 1887, when they started keeping track of these things. LADWP is confident that "[w]e will still get by," thanks to water-hoarding and the water-saving measures they've recommended since 2010. Meteorologists says it's hard to predict what 2014 will bring.
