FINANCIAL DISTRICT: Culver City favorite City Tavern is moving toward a January opening for their outpost at the FIGat7th mall. The DTLA gastropub will be twice the size of the Westside version, but with the same rustic look, communal tables, and extensive beer selection.
PICO-ROBERTSON: Chef Alex Reznik has opened his new Brooklyn-inspired eatery, Ditmas Kitchen and Cocktails, in the former Bocca Steak spot on Pico. The restaurant is appropriately kosher, with white fish treats and duck consommé with smaltz matzo balls. Open now, Ditmas is also no slouch with its drink menu.
PALM SPRINGS: We all love Palm Springs and the holiday break is a perfect time to take in the mountains and mid-century-ness. Should you find yourself at the Saguaro or Ace this week and need help deciding where to eat, search no further than Eater LA's dining map.
