San Bernardino was once a booming Cold War city, fueled by Norton Air Force Base, the Santa Fe Railroad maintenance yard, and the nearby Kaiser Steel mill, but now all of that is gone, the city's bankrupt, and poverty and crime rates have shot up. Let's get the energy, let's try to focus that." [SCPR, image via Wikipedia]
