Just six days into service and with one day left in the holiday weekend, Interstate Bus abruptly canceled its brand new service between Bakersfield and LAX this past Saturday. IB had started running the $32-a-ticket route on Sunday, November 24 (another company stopped offering LAX service in September). Apparently the company offered "limited cash usage," no parking, and an English-only website, so it's not too hard to see why it failed. [23ABC]
