Well it's 80 degrees in mid-December and hey, guess what, "downtown Los Angeles is on pace for its driest calendar year on record." So far there's been 3.49 inches of rain in 2013, which is only 26 percent of the normal level. It might a quarter of an inch on Thursday. [SCPR, image via Calvin Fleming]
