Gosh it's so heartwarming whenever the CEO of a rich and powerful corporation does anything not-horrible: Disney's chief, Robert Iger, apparently lives in a Brentwood house designed by the great Paul R. Williams, and was horrified recently when he saw a neighbor trying to tear down "a relatively rare example of a smaller home by Williams," a 1940 ranch with four bedrooms in 3,867 square feet. (Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley used to use it as a guesthouse.) Iger alerted the city and worked with the Planning Department to get a stop-work order, which was issued yesterday. [LAT]
