For the eighth annual Great Los Angeles Walk this past weekend, about 300 people walked 18 miles, from Echo Park Lake to Palisades Park (or from the Lady of the Lake statue to the Saint Monica statue), down Sunset and then Wilshire (via Whittier Drive). It was the second-longest but first-quickest GLAW ever, according to organizer Michael Schneider--the group started at 9 am and finished at 4:15 pm. Frankly it all sounds exhausting, so just watch it all in this time-lapse video by Will Campbell (via Eastsider LA). Enjoy! Next year's walk is scheduled for November 22.
