Los Angeles loves its pricey private clubs and the 24-year-old City Club Los Angeles has just given its home on the fifty-first floor of the City National Bank a huge makeover themed on Downtown, with an interior "meticulously designed to represent Downtown's Financial, Jewelry, Flower, Fashion and Theater districts." The youngish club is hoping to attract more youngish, diverse members. They also now allow jeans! [Downtown News]
