Environmental graphic designer Deborah Sussman has been making her mark on Los Angeles's visual landscape for decades, beginning with her work as a designer for the Eames studio in the 1950s. Next month, Woodbury University will be mounting the first solo retrospective dedicated to Sussman, now 82 and still working as partner in Sussman/Prejza, the design firm she co-founded with Paul Prejza in 1980. To finance the exhibition, the organizers have launched a Kickstarter fund, as one must In These Times--there's still a little time left to contribute, but the clock runs out on November 24.
