Mid-Century "Tree House" In Franklin Hills Asking $1.1 Million

New, 20 comments

Per its listing, this post and beam house in the Franklin Hills was built in 1953 by architects Riley and Levamas, and while we can't say we were heretofore familiar with either of those names, we can say we like what they're putting down here. Sited on a street-to-street lot, the 1,348-square-foot house features three bedrooms, two baths, beamed ceilings, a brick fireplace, several built-ins, bamboo floors, walls of glass, and panoramic views. Last sold in 2005 for $907,000, it's now asking $1.095 million.
