1920s Spanish in Atwater Village Cut Down to $699k

New, 13 comments

This 1925 bungalow in Atwater Village ventured out to market back in July hoping to fetch $750,000. Buyers were unmoved, but hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? While the Spanish-style house is certainly cute, with its cheerful blue accents, hardwood and tile floors, beamed ceilings, French doors, jalousie windows, and shady backyard populated with "lemon, lime, kumquat, pomegranate, fig, tangerine, orange, and pomelo trees," per the old listing copy, it's also rather petite, measuring in at 1,122 square feet. Only time will tell if this'll do the trick, but the two-bedroom, one-bath residence has just been relisted with a reduced asking price of $699,000.
