Vowing to never forgive and forget, an appeal hearing for the now well under construction Sunset Gordon project is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, October 8th. At issue is the illegal demolition of the facade of the former Old Spaghetti Factory, which had been identified for preservation by the City. Developer CIM has agreed to build a reproduction of the facade as part of the building, but opponents remain unhappy. Unclear is exactly what can be done at this point to punish the developer.
