In a very far-and-wide-ranging essay over on Medium, assistant director Stephen Bondor argues that car culture and its costs are keeping Los Angeles from an artistic revolution: "LA has the most artistically dense population in history, using the most advanced technology in history, and we are still fascinated by speakeasies, movies, and cars ?
