Ooh, what is composer/artist/Devo frontman Mark Mothersbaugh up to in Chinatown? He and his wife Anita Greenspan have just bought a 3,300-square-foot gallery/apartment space on Chung King Road, reports the (seriously Devo-loving) LA Times. It includes two one-bedroom apartments (not much to look at from the listing photos), a 300-square-foot retail space with a mezzanine and some fabulous window action, plus a ventilated basement. The pair paid $798,000.
