In their Sunday editorial, the LA Times ed. board cheered that Metro and Los Angeles World Airports have come together to finally bring a rail connection to LAX. But the agencies aren't exactly on the same page: LAWA's preferred plan (pictured) would require a rerouting of the Crenshaw Line, which is already in pre-construction, but Metro's Martha Welborne said last week that rerouting Crenshaw is just one option (that doesn't have money): "The airport is trying to jump to one conclusion now.
