Haha, the couple behind Silver Lake's Mohawk General Store, who've just opened a new location in Old Town, have managed to convince the New York Times's T magazine that Pasadena is (or is going to be?) the next Silver Lake. In an interview, they say a bunch of stuff like "[some restaurant] is kind of like the Café Stella of Pasadena" and "We realized, 'Hey, this is maybe where Silver Lake was five years ago,' ... There are tons of people around, and no interesting place to shop." [T, image via benjamin page]
