The City Council delayed today's vote on the proposed $3 billion measure to raise money to fix LA's holey streets, on account of the local Neighborhood Councils, which have voted to oppose it. "City Council President Herb Wesson ... said the plan lacked a public outreach component to gain support from the city's 95 Neighborhood Councils." The City Council is expected to take up the issue again next Tuesday. [Patch]
