After more than a year and a half, Broadway producer Jon Platt (Book of Mormon) has managed to sell the Schnabel House, one of Frank Gehry's last single family houses (it was built in 1989). Platt meticulously updated the house after buying it in 2006 for $9 million. It was first listed in March 2011 asking $13 million and finally sold for $9.5 million. [LAT]
