We're number one! We're number one! LA has once again "won" TomTom's annual traffic survey ranking the most traffic-congested North American cities: "the average L.A. commuter spends 34 percent more time behind the wheel than when traffic is flowing freely (at whatever theoretical hour that may be) and 76 percent more time during a typical evening rush. By comparison, the average North American motorist spends 19 percent more time than necessary getting to a given destination during times of peak congestion." [Forbes]
