Guess? cofounder and 2010 gubernatorial candidate Georges Marciano has been trying to sell off his lovely Beverly Hills estate for years now (since 2005) and it looks like he's finally found a buyer--superproducer Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure, Kangaroo Jack) is in escrow to buy the house, reports TMZ. The house, which sits on more than two acres, was built in 1927 for Columbia Pictures head Harry Cohn and designed by the refined East Coaster Robert D. Farquhar. Marciano bought it in 1988. It currently has seven bedrooms, a dining room, a billiards room, a card room, two kitchens, a library, two guesthouses, a tennis court, a pool, and so on and so forth. Most recently, Marciano was asking $24.5 million and Bruckheimer is said to have made a $23 million offer. A little last-minute drama, though: TMZ says Diddy was touring the pad just a few days ago and could potentially put in an offer before Bruckheimer closes on January 17 (but probably won't, so not that much drama).
