Sirena on Beverly, Stella & Vine in Hollywood, Allumette in Echo Park, Vegan at the Medallion

BEVERLY GROVE: Sirena, a collaboration from people behind Pace and Guys and Dolls, opens today at Beverly and Sweetzer: a blue aesthetic and an Italian/California menu with a big emphasis on olive oil.

HOLLYWOOD: The restaurants attached to the Arclight seem to have so much trouble, even with all that foot traffic. The latest endeavor is called Stella & Vine, likely a pizza concept from the people behind Santa Monica's Stella Rosa.

ECHO PARK: The former Allston Yacht Club is becoming Allumette, an understated cozy restaurant that plans to offer customized tasting menus. Opening in late-January.

DOWNTOWN: Dr. J's Vibrant Cafe will add to the vegan options in the Historic Core, opening this summer at the Medallion Apartments at Fourth and Main, which are also getting a Sushi Ko. A cafe and bakery will also occupy the 2,700 square foot space.
