Taking your dog to the Silver Lake Dog Park is like hanging out in the middle of a desert (with a bunch of dogs)--it's a barren wasteland with just "Three small structures made from thin metal posts and wood," which dogs are constantly running into. The Department of Recreation and Parks has now agreed to build three new canopies (one in the small dog park, two in the large), along with a new entrance and a pathway from the entrance to the shade structures in order to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
