We couldn't have a week go by without a little fallout from the death of California's redevelopment agencies, which were tasked with redeveloping blighted sites until the state killed them off earlier this year. In Reseda, City Councilmember Dennis Zine wants to raze the Sherman Way site of the Reseda Town Center South has become blighted; apparently, the Community Redevelopment Agency of LA "had been close to bringing in either a big-box store or some other commercial development." In Monrovia, developer Samuelson & Fetter has sued the city over the mixed-use, Gold Line-adjacent Station Square Transit Village, which has now stalled out. [LADN, PSN]
