For late-evening Twitter reading, nothing beats @LAScanner, which goes #ScannerOn several nights a week to report (drolly) on the weirdest of LA's weirdo crime happenings (it's especially great when there's a little back and forth with the also-delightful @WeHoDaily). Los Angeles magazine has snagged the first extended interview with the anonymous Scanner (we know he's mid-thirties, a native, and lives in the Miracle Mile): "I tend to never Tweet about domestic violence calls. But there are exceptions to every rule. If a wife is beating her husband over the head with a chicken, that's funny -- potentially .... If someone gets shot with a blowdart, that's funny." [LA Mag]
