Honest Buildings, the social network for commercial real estate (and mixed-use buildings too), launched its Los Angeles outpost yesterday. The site has info for about 200,000 SoCal buildings ("including pictures, square footage, building ownership and management, projects and renovations, whether it's rated by ENERGYSTAR and much more") and it lets owners, managers, and tenants do stuff like "distribute requests for qualifications (RFQ) for upcoming projects and be matched with the best architects, contractors, brokers and wide range of other companies." The LA Better Buildings Challenge is working with the platform "to significantly improve the energy and water performance of LA's existing buildings," for instance. Users can also follow buildings to keep up to date and just generally show loyalty to the greats (right now the Capitol Records building has the most followers with three--get in there, people).
