After two years of listings, delistings, priceuppers and downers, and false sales pending, Dennis Hopper's compound in Venice has finally sold. The property, first listed in July 2010, includes five buildings (a main house by Brian Murphy, three Frank Gehry units, and a 100 year old cottage), a lap pool, and a pool house, on one-third of an acre. It first hit the market asking $6.245 million and sold, according to the MLS, for $5 million.
