Lots of Talk, No Action Yet on Helicopters

New, 2 comments

Let the study begin: KPCC reports that the Federal Aviation Authority will be in the Valley tonight to meet with neighborhood groups about the constant comings and goings of non-essential helicopters around Los Angeles. Even though this meeting might seem like a bit of a letdown compared to the passing of an actual laws to curb helicopter noise (such a law stalled out in the House), the state legislature thinks the dog will still hunt: according to a press release, the California Legislature has approved Assembly Joint Resolution 25 urging Congress to pass the damn bill already.
