Work has started on Bob Hope Airport's Regional Intermodal Transportation Center, which will have "a three-level parking structure for rental cars, a rental car customer service building and a bus station" serving local and regional bus lines, plus shuttles to the Red Line and Metrolink. It will also have an 1,100 foot long elevated moving walkway, which sounds fun. And don't worry, the airport is also building another parking structure to replace spaces lost for this project.
