Artist's Long-Time House in Mt. Washington Asking $360k

New, 23 comments

Prices seem to keep creeping higher and higher on Mt. Washington, so it's nice to see something that seems so down to earth--although, ok, it's tiny and probably needs some work. According to the listing, this 1921 house is "The refuge of a revered local artist. The coveted family home for over 50 years ?" We can't nail it down, but based on property records, that artist may have been the Japanese-American modernist painter Sueo Serisawa (just don't quote us on that). The 845 square foot house comes with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a two-room basement, and mature landscaping. Asking price is $359,950.
