Ed Fickett House in the Hills Gets Whitewashed Flip Treatment

New, 30 comments

We first saw this 1958 house in the Hills, designed by underrated local modernist Ed Fickett, back in 2010. Back then it was looking quite lived in and not at all whitewashed by flippers (not that it was pristine--it had a black toilet and a pretty ugly kitchen). Today that's been taken care of--flippers bought the house around New Year's for the exact asking price of $1.875 million and have given it a thorough makeover. It still has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a sweet raised sitting/dining area, a pool, and a third of an acre of land. Asking price now is $2.725 million.
