Silver Lake's neighborhood brown growth vertical garden is no more, reports the Eastsider LA. The succulents and Scotch moss were planted two years ago on the side of the Natural Mind beauty salon near the Sunset Triangle Plaza and peeled off today by orders of the building's new occupant, the grocery delivery business Yummy.com (which isn't open yet). Yummy says they took it down because it consumed 40,000 gallons of water a month. [Eastsider LA, image via]
