One thing the Valley always needs more of is pools, so locals are pretty psyched that the long-shuttered Reseda Park pool has reopened (it was officially dedicated yesterday). The city replaced the old pool--which was 80 years old!--with a much larger model, and also added a new pump house, deck, cabanas, stadium lights, and bleachers. Reseda is the last in a series of Valley pool retrofits. [LADN, image via]
