1929 Spanish in the Hills of Burbank Asking $719k

New, 9 comments

What say we check out a new listing in the town that bills itself as the "Media Capital of the World," which also happens to be the only city in LA County named after a dentist--beautiful Burbank! This two-level Spanish perched in the hills north of Sunset Canyon Drive was built in 1929 and features, per the listing, two bedrooms, two and one-quarter baths, a formal dining room, and two separate basement work spaces. Among the 2,450 square foot house's pluses are its hardwood floors; arched doorways; nicely detailed fireplace; charming vintage sconces, light fixtures, and oven; and its impressive city and valley views. In the property's negative column are its blah bathrooms, lackluster landscaping, and apparent dearth of yard space, though that impression may be the fault of the photos, rather than the house. Last sold in 1998 for $280,000, it's now asking $719,000.
