DOWNTOWN: Wow, big news for DTLA: Terroni, the delicious Italian staple on Beverly, is opening a 6,000 square foot restaurant at Spring and Eighth in a building erected in 1924. Outside seating! Huge bar! DJ booth! A charcuterie stand! It all opens in November. Meanwhile, a new concept called The Parish opens up nearby in the old Angelique space.

STUDIO CITY: As of tomorrow, The Village gastropub offers up new eating/drinking options on Ventura, with pizza and some other delicious-sounding Italian plates on the menu.

HOLLYWOOD: Brew Coffee Bar has set up outside the CNN Tower, featuring Stumptown coffee and "career baristas." Santa Monica office workers are already familiar with BCB, with runs a kiosk at the Yahoo Center.

PALMS: The Garage is opening on Motor, with patio dining, lounge area, and liquor license. A harbinger for the area (which is seeing some mixed-use construction and a coming Expo Line station)?
