One thing we have out here in SoCal is land, lots of land, for building enormous, 99 percent-shaming houses. The good people at PropertyShark have put together a chart of the 10 biggest houses in greater Los Angeles. An old friend tops the list: The Manor in Holmby Hills, late of the Spellings and now owned by Formula 1 heiress Petra Ecclestone (it was also the biggest house sale of 2011). Click through for all the ridiculously damn huge house porn. (Note we've used PS's numbers for square footage; they may differ slightly from past listings, but still start at the mindboggling 28,222 square feet.)
