Kayaking is back for another summer on the LA River and this year there'll be 2,000 tickets sold (last year it was just 260) with trips available three times a day, five days a week (every day except Wednesday and Sunday). Tours will take you down a two-mile stretch in the Valley and there's talk of a future route through the Glendale Narrows. [KCET, image via]
