CITYWIDE: What do fashion industry types love about LA? A small survey, conducted by the staff at Intermix, reveals that their most common city haunts include The Beverly Hills Hotel, Pressed Juicery, the Chateau Marmont, Joan's on Third and Soho House.

DOWNTOWN: American Apparel is unloading a ton of brightly-colored cotton, spandex, and nylon separates during a big sale starting today at their factory and HQ on Warehouse Street. Expect to find regular American Apparel clothes and accessories as well as one-offs, samples and slightly damaged items. They'll be taking credit cards and cash and will be replenishing throughout the sale.

HOLLYWOOD: LA got a new open-air fair this past weekend with the opening of the Hester Street Fair on the corner of Hollywood and Argyle. Co-founded by former MTV VJ SuChin Pak, it featured food, fashion and a custom poem booth manned by Andy Dick.
